Denise Auclair leads the Travel Smart Campaign, a global effort to help businesses move towards purposeful travel and reduced corporate emissions, while accelerating innovation and scale-up of advances in sustainable travel.

She joined Transport & Environment in 2021, bringing over 15 years of experience in responsible business practice and the global impacts of corporate operations.   She played a leading role in campaigns for European regulation on mineral sourcing and due diligence in supply chains, as well as for international United Nations standard-setting on business and human rights.  In this capacity she worked with governments, businesses, civil society and other partners across continents to improve both policies and practice.
