Opening remarks about the Association’s top Global Priorities from Mark Cuschieri, President, GBTA and Head of Global Travel Management, UBS.  Followed by special introductions of the new Senior Vice President of the Americas, GBTA, Cristina Scott, and the new Country Director, Canada, GBTA, Janette Acosta Sanchez.

The Current State of the Canadian Travel Industry
Hear from Shane Downey, Vice President, Government Relations, GBTA on GBTA’s Advocacy priorities, globally and in Canada.  Shane will provide an update on issues supported and actions taken in Canada as well as Washington, DC and Brussels.  He will then be joined by expert panelists for a fireside chat to discuss how the travel industry is responding to government initiatives and what solutions the industry is seeking.
